Exhaust Manifold smoking?
It smokes, and gets really hot after like 1 minute of engine running. Whats going on? 1993 ford ranger, 4x4 XLT

What motor do you have? sounds to me like your running way lean, due to a bad MAF (mass Air Flow Senser) or a bad injector? just an idea

it sounds like he onlt has one manifold so it sounds like the 2.3l
i bet his catylitic converter is clogged

I fixed the problem, but for what its worth, it was a 4.0L
