Question Quick Tow Question

I am about to pull my Ranger on a tow dolly from Denver to Baxley, GA.

Being that it is a RWD manual, is it safe to do so, assuming I leave it in neutral during the pull?

yep manual just leave in neutral. for auto trans is better to unbolt the driveshaft, the pump spins in neutral and could hurt it.

Thanks. Been hearing a lot of that disconnect talk, and wasn't entirely sure what to go with.

On some manuals you still need to disconnect the drive shaft. The NP435 that came in some of the old f-series trucks can be severely damaged if they are towed for long distances. This isn't the case for all manuals, like the ranger transmission, but if you are looking for a rule of thumb, disconnecting the drive shaft won't ever hurt.
