Default What years was the 4cyl-manual-4x4 combo available?

Like the title says, at what points in time could you buy a 4 cylinder 4x4 with a manual transmission? The newest I've seen was mid-early 90s.

I kind of want to get a beater truck, or a high-speed tractor of sorts, and I'd just like to see what 4-banger engines are available with that drivetrain combo. What's the mpg like, as well? My abused old 2.3 only got 20ish, and thats in a 2wd, with crap 3.45 gears. Granted, the truck had seen better days.
