Default Oil Change

Please don't laugh but I've recently bought a 2007 3.0ltr TD Ranger and want to do an oil change. Can someone tell me how many liters it takes as the little manual that came with it just says to send it to a service technician? Also, could someone recommend the best oil to use?

Thanks in advance,

Nick

5 qts with a new filter.

Consider a good quality synthetic and oil filter?

Thats what I was gonna say he is probably not from North America since he has a 3.0 TD (turbo diesel)

My guess it's not gonna be the same
