Default A/C Problems.

Hello guys. I recently bought a 2003 Ranger, it's a 4.0,, and I notice that the ac isn't nearly as cold as my 2002 3.0 which the ac is ice cold. Any suggestions of what I could do to get cold ac????

Practically free if you do it yourself, if you don't have the tools then a little over 125 without the vacuum. But the know how, yea that ain't always free. Unless you already know, then yea free. Anyways ac us a closed system, if you need refrigerant you have a leak. Get it fixed

I feel you I ended up leaning the basics since I too didn't have money and south Texas is hot! So I invested in the gear it's more than paid for itself. Good luck, a quick recharge can get you by but sooner or later you gonna cross that , it's too expensive to keep topping up threshold. The good news is there is plenty of info on here and the internet to teach you a thing or two for free. You won't be an ac mechanic but you can probably get by.
