I like that your responding because when i got signed up for this forum i read alot of your general facts and comments and it has really helped with my build. Still i'm wondering if the the SCT X3 will work until i learn how to work a self tuner. Thanks for help friend.

I don't use those handheld calibrators. I tune with laptop software that is open-source. From what I understand it will do exactly what your trying but bewarned: As much as a tuner can do good, it can also do bad. It does not take much in terms of detonation to ruin a motor quickly.

What should I watch out for? If something is going wrong would the laptop show a sign of improper tuning? Or will i have to watch the numbers on the gauges?
