Default 2001 Ford Ranger Vibration Problem

Hi, I have a 2001 Ford Ranger 3.0 V6 Flax Fuel 2 Wheel Drive and I have a vibration problem on 1400 RPM. When I am driving, or when the vehicle is parked, the vibration is always exactly on 1400 RPM. I looked at everything, and changed the transmission mounts, but nothing helps. I think it may be the exhaust system, but I am not sure. This will be costly to replace the exhaust system so does anyone have an idea of what I should do?

Thanks,
Wes

If you are feeling a vibration i dont see how it could be your exhaust and if it happens at exactly 1400 whether your parked or driving id have to guess loose or bad motor mount(s)

There's a slight chance it could be the harmonic balancer (Pully on crankshaft) sometimes the inner and outer parts become separated and you'll get a vibration at a certain RPM.
You may be able to see it by having someone bring the RPM's up to 1400 and look to see if it's wobbling around..

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

Torque it down till it breaks off, then back it off 1/4 turn.
