Default Skid plating ford vs mazda

Hello guys and gals. Been a while since I've been here but I'm back. College is done finally so my focus is back on my Ranger.

I have a 2000 ranger 3.0. My father has a B4000 Mazda which I took notice has some skid plating for the various sensitive areas underneath. I know he won't be needing these and since I'm beginning to offroad more and more was wondering if these are a direct bolt on or if I'll have to do some slight modding. I know the trucks are similar enough so I just wasn't sure.

Right now I can't do any looking cause I'm slung up with an ankle sprain :/
Thanks for the help in advance!!

Yeah his is an 02 I believe. I just forget which year they changed frame sizes and don't wanna drag the stuff down for it to not work. I think it was the 98-00 models they changed it. Or maybe the gen before that. Idk. I'll give it a shot perhaps.

Think an aftermarket product would be better/stronger than the Mazda factory version?? N where could I find some

Default Re: Skid plating ford vs mazda

as stated 98+ fits directly, the skid plate from my old 01 I got from my buddies 98 Mazda when it was totaled.

RCI plates are a great option as well I have one of his t case skids now.
