Default cables on gas pedal.

I have two cables attached to my gas pedal. One is my throttle. What's the other? Cruis control? Cause I am going to do the zip tie mod to my throttle cause there is a inch of slack but the other cable has like 3 inches of slack and I'm wondering if I need to take up that slack as well.

the zip tie mod is done at the gas pedal itself not under the hood. but yes the other could be your cruise.

on the pedal there should only be one cable, the throttle body on the engine should have the 2 cables. the slack is taken up at the pedal end like Alan said. i would not take up slack in the CC line, it most likely is made that way and automatically takes up the slack when CC is engaged.

I did the mod at the pedal... under the dash... and there is two cables attached to my gas pedal. I already did the zip tie mod.. just wondering what that other cable was. I don't have cruise control.

That doesnt seem right. I have done this mod to several Fords including a 93 ranger and i have only seen one cable at the pedal on anything.

Both of mine are manuals with no cruise control and I don't have a second cable. I'm not sure if that helps narrow things down for you or not but I thought I would throw it out there.
