Hi i have a 96 Ford Ranger 4cyl 2wd manual and the brake line exploded and i was wondering what size brake line i need and if i need fittings as well??

The best thing to do is take a section of the line, along with a fitting to a parts store, and have them match what you've got.

+2 I took both ends of the line because mine had 2 different fittings.

I'm thinking 3/16" but the above suggestion is best. Depending on what line it is, you may need to reuse one of the old fittings since auto parts stores don't have a line with both of the correct fittings. I just had to replace all my lines except the one between the frame and the tank.
