Default Cruise Control Not Working

So my truck currently has cruise control in it but it does nothing. I have checked the fuses and hook up under the hood and everything is hooked up. When I first got the truck the cable was off the TB but I reconnected it with no change to the current situation. Where else could this be disconnected or most commonly an issue? The buttons are not caved in at all and can be pressed and rebound well but there is no lights that come on. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Any ideas? I have checked out the break switch and it seems to be working. If the relay is burnt out would that cause the lights to not work or could this be inside the steering wheet maybe?

Nothing is lighting up on the dash for the cruise control or anything so where else are there fuses for this other than in the fuse block? My horn and directionals work like normal. The buttons seem to be moving fine as in they rebound after being pressed. I am not sure where there might be any other sensors on here that control it. The only thing on the brake booster under the hood is a wire that is plugged in. There is no leaking fluids anywhere near it. I have been going crazy tring to do something with this and would rather not just replace everything but it seems I might have to. I would appreciate any info on how to test the seperate components to see where the issue may be. Thanks.

Check the cable that connects to the throttle body ear.

That was off but I hooked it back up again without any change. I checked that after checking the fuses and everything is plugged in.

It will pop off every time you touch the gas. I just took some zip ties and it stayed on and my cruise control worked.

But there is no Cruise light on my dash at all so I don't think it is even turning on. I will check for any recall.

It has nothing to do with the cable under the hood if the lights aren't even coming on.

I guess I will try tearing into the switches to see if there is power to them then and work this back from there. I have just always been a little leary of working around or removing air bags. I should have some time Saturday to do this.
