2001 Ford Ranger Edge..
47k miles..

My horn is neither loud nor clear.. I wouldn't even know where to begin suggesting what the problem could be. Anybody?

Could have water in it or it is just time to replace it cause it has tooted it's last toot

Time to replace...I replaced mine w// a louder one @ around 5000 miles because I thought it sounded too "ricey". Now it sounds like a truck.

how do u replace them with different kinds? and how do u evin replace them? is it a plug and go? or do u have to splice wires and stuff?

iv got a 94 ford ranger. most baisic truck u can ever get. no power stearing. manual locks and windows. got a JVC KDR200, with a pair of Pyle 6" X 8" Blue Label 3-Way Speakers and wired an antennna. its a 2.3L 4 banger, with a 5 speed manual transmission. it had 117,400 miles on it wen i got it. i plan on dropping it a few inches. in the procces of repainting the interior. i want new headlights and taillights and paint my factory rims black. plan on getting a cheap sub and put in it.

My horn ( on the '09 ) is between the radiator and the grill. Very easy to remove. Mine looks just like OEM...only louder and deeper. Yes, plug & play. Try Auto Zone or any parts store...they all have them.

lmfao i did the same thing to my horn hahaha!! when the truck is off it sounds weird. when the truck is one its loud and beefy idk why lol battery is great still. but i think i blew it out ooppss like STL said water haha i went threw huge puddles on our first rain storm back in october or september. and after that never been the same.

you guys are lucky you have a horn idk why my truck doesnt have one. u press for the horn and the relay clicks but nothing. i dont have a horn at all lol. my horn is my pa way more fun
