its pretty much pulling the slack out of you throttle at the pedal with a zip tie. havent done it, so im not sure how much it really changes things. ive heard people say there is "more response" in the pedal

And it doesn't do any thing except make you feel better. It raises the pedal, so at the same foot position, you are opening the throttle more. Some think this gives you more power, but in the best case, i.e. a severely stretched cable, it will get you back to where you started. If your cable isn't already stretched beyond belief, and most aren't, it can actually be a bad thing.
All in all, this should only be considered a "fix" for a stretched out throttle cable, not a "mod".

its all in the mind anyways. like i gave my truck a free lift today by inflating the tires to the proper psi lol
but my 08 came with a little slack in the cable because i was able to slip a few zipties on there while it was new

There's supposed to be a little bit of slack. Thats so when you stand on it, you aren't putting you weight on the cable. I've broken cables in other cars from having then adjusted too tight. It's embarrassing to give up a 4 car lead on a Maxima when you hit 3rd, because the cable snaps.

As long as you realize that this does absolutely nothing, do what you like.

It does do something... it makes the accelerator more sensitive. However it obviously does nothing in regards to an actual performance increase.

ya i understand exactly what it does.. i practly did the same thing on my dirtbike, jus tightened the cable so there was less slack. i see where you all are coming from, and me personally i hate all that flop in the throttle and you can't get the rest of your throttle potential then the pedal is hittin the floor. so i can see where some people say it gives you "more power". It jus gives you the power back you didn't know you had....
