Mine is toast!! Googled this just a little while ago and found a link on explorerforum.com and someone had a photo description of doing it on a 93 explorer they said it was a quick and easy fix and I agree it appeared pretty simple.Just wondering if anybody could confirm this?Looked behind glove box and found where the core sits'just wondering if it drops out as explained in the explorer reference.Thanks in advance

yep it is an easy job just unscrew the 4 5/16 screws holding the bottom of the plenm box . pull back on the core and pull down. and reverse the proses to install

yeah easiest repair ever. pull the screws, clamps and drop the core. advance auto got me one for $20 and a lifetime warranty
