Default Good reason to Replace the Fuel Filter

Well i was feeling like crap earlier today, so i decided to share with you pictures of what i found in my old fuel filter - crap. yep that's a little water and other rusty looking stuff.

really? only a year? i did mine i think last july if i remember right. but I'm just about 15k miles since i did it.

When I did my fuel pump the tank was spotless in there! I was surprised to see it so clean!

any day now, i'll have to replace the fuel pump. i am going to pull the tank and see exactly whats happening in there - it's like a crap explosion in there. first i think i'll take a look at my current filter in a few months to see if it is trashed also. they are so cheap. no reason to wait too long, right?

The fuel pump itself may not need changing but the pickup/strainer/filter on the FP is probably pretty filthy and making the pump work a lot harder than it has to.

sent from my iPhone 5....PSH!!! I don't have money for a iPhone 5
