I'm still looking for a skinny kid to do my throttle cable mod for me!!!!!!! I can see what to do, but can't get hands, arms, shoulders to work together!!!! Oh, I'm only 5'11" and 220#. Any takers down in the Detroit metro area? All the kids up here are huge, and the women are huger!!!!

And a Border Collie that likes it too!!

It won't last nearly as long, but you can also take up the slack at the throttle body. I recommend using black cable ties. They last longer than the white ones. Ultraviolet light breaks down the white ones much quicker.

Go to that site and hit the <TSB> button. Enter vehicle info. Then you can select to see all of the TSBs or select Wiring to see those diagrams.

Looking at this again, remove the cover from your throttle body. That will expose the throttle linkage. Pull the excess throttle cable and put the cable ties on the excess cable. Piece of cake.

For those with clutch issues.
I found this excellent troubleshooting guide on the LUX web site. From what I understand, they manufacture the OEM Ranger clutch components.
This is one of the few jobs I have never done on a vehicle. I think this information would make the job more understandable.
