Default i think i need to replace my wheel bearing!!

ok i was coming home last night well lets start from the beginning. My right front tire has been making a noise while i have been driving and it got worst as the days went on, and the abs light came on and the brakes have been screwing up, whenever i put the brake on the steering wheel would turn the other direction by itself. The brakes would be total crap to me sometimes making it real hard to press down. Well lastnight coming home and the steering got worst and finally she hit the breking point or the point to where i stopped, i get outside and i smell this nasty burning smell, from the tire and the top of the tire was leaning inwards and the bottom was sticking outwards. Soo when the guy with the flat bed came he automotically said wheel bearing.

Soo do you guys think it is a wheel bearning and how hard is it to replace? Is their a write up on it anywhere ? Need help asap!! Thanks guys

Not too hard to replace, just a lot of disassembling. Have to get it down to bare spindle.

oh btw i have the manual lock in hubs, previous owner swtiched them out, well they are not the stock where you dont have to get out and turn them, i have to get out and turn them. soo idk if they makes it any harder or different way of removing the wheel bearning. I'm guessing the bigger tires put alot of stress on the wheel bearning.

its pretty easy.. you have to get a whole wheel assembly you cant just do the wheel bearing. i did mine about two weeks ago in about two hours. fairly simple to replace

Since the hub have been replaced I can't really say, but Fx4wannabe1 (Shane) guided me a little. The 4x4 hub is a a complete assy. I bought mine from wheelbearingwarehouse.com. They have two different suppliers to choose from, I've posted a link in the vendors section of the classifieds you can use. Anyway, t's pretty straight forward according to him. Unbolt, remove old hub, reinstall, done. It is a sh*t pot more costly for the Timken bearings, but like Shane said yo get what you pay for and once the reality of "wheel bearings" sets in you'll pay the $450.

pretty easy to do. take off brake caliper, rotor then wheel bearing and replace. It is like 6 bolts to complete. While you have it apart though I would put some anti seize on everything so it will come apart easier later down the road.

I would soak all the bolts in liquid wrench or something overnight before getting into it
