that would be way more work that what its worth. and im pretty sure you have to have a CDL to drive anything with airbrakes on the road.

^ that
plus why would you want air brakes on a ranger? if your brakes dont seem strong enough get some new rotors and some more agressive pads will be more cost effective

its not the fact of them being strong enough im the guy who makes things into something that no one else has. really a fact of the truck being different, most common truck in america i wanna make it different so people look an stare

not to sound like and ass but no one is going to know you have air brakes by just seeing your truck on the street and you will have to get a whole nother license to operate a vehicle with air brakes at least here you need a class B if i remember correctly are there are lots of things you can do to make your truck stand out

you could convert the rear fairly easily i would imagine by getting a full size axle then getting it narrowed but the front might be more difficult you could do a solid axle swap up there and put the a narrowed front axle as-well... your going to need a more powerful motor to move all of that so might want to think about a v8 plus your going to need a lift but then you could throw on some 22 inch big rig Alcoa and have something different

----------

oh and you have to run airlines to the brakes and find a way to hook up a compressor to what ever motor you use

You would clearly need retarder too. Only because you can't put a jake on a 2.5.
