Default Front Auto Locking hubs

1999 Ford ranger 4X4. I have noticed the front vaccum lines to auto locking hubs are dry rotted and one of the nipples is rusted off on left front side. This seems like a poor set up to me. Any feedback on getting manual locking hubs? I assume that would be the way to go vs buying new front hub assembly. Where does it pull vaccum from and what do you do with vacuum line if switched to manual lockout hubs?
Any comment on what brand of manual hubs are on the market for this truck?

Wow i find it hard to believe no one has had front hub issues!! These Vacuum hubs seem like crap to me! Just bought a set of Manual lock out hubs from rugged ridge.
