Default HVAC air from vents question

Been lurking here for a while and I ran into a problem with my 1990 V-6 Ranger. I've had it for about a year and it seems like there is not a lot of air coming from the dash or floor vents. It has two hot heater core hoses, radiator is topped off, has manual blend door and I hear it thump when I move the hot/cold lever. I installed a new blower resistor pack tonight. I pulled the blower motor out and had the wife go thru all four speeds while I held the fan and it seem to be spinning faster with each increase of the switch. On the AC housing on the firewall is a torpedo looking canister with vacuum lines on it. I traced one of the lines to the area of the wiper motor and found it wasn't hooked up. The vacuum tee on the manifold nearby didn't have any open ports. Anybody point me in a direction to get some volume of air moving thru my vents? Thanks.

Here's a couple of pics of what I was rambling about.

Default Re: HVAC air from vents question

Fan problem is fixed! After looking at everything I could think of I took the fan out again and turned the switch on high. The fan was spinning like crazy, except it was spinning backwards. It looked like a replacement motor since it didn't look like everything else under the hood (old). The wire colors matched so I thought what the heck, I pulled them out of the plug, switched them and bolted the fan back in. Guess what, the vents were blowing air so hard it moved my hair! I've had the truck for a year and the old guy I bought it from, who was the original owner must have had the fan motor replaced sometime in the past.
