Default Key Doesn't Work in Door...

Hi Guys, I recently got my truck a couple of months ago and it came with a viper car starter and keyless entry system. I think I left my dome light on the other day and my car battery may be dead because I cannot open my car with the remote starter. So naturally, I tried to open my doors with the key so i could jump it and my key wont even turn in the door.

Why could this be? I was thinking that maybe when the remote started/ keyless entry was installed it may have enabled my key from working in the door? I honestly am stumped. Any thoughts?

spray some lube up in there. The key mechanism dries up and get like that. Try jiggling the key back and fourth rapidly. While doing this, try to move the tip of the key up and down, if that makes sense. You'll feel it, most likeyl on the lock stroke, it will get loose, then quick hit it the other way, and it will open.

Maybe if your key is a copy they cut the grooves on the wrong side/key. That happened to me and all they did was copy me a new key and it worked.
