Default ABS break problem

So I've been having stopping problems recently where my ABs would kick in for no reason. Meaning a dry road on a nice soft stop. Or when I go to pull foreword to back into a parking spot.

Brought it to my mechanic who coded it. ABS sensors are fine. He said it came up central something or other and does not know where it is on the Rangers to check it out. What's my problem! I know nothing about the abs shit. He also said that he has seen the rangers typically do this when the front bearings are shot but since the code came up he's baffled.

Help

My abs gave me trouble when I replaced my rotors. The new rotors had bent pick-up rings.

Yeah thats what I figured. I pulled the fuse and will ignore the problem unless its nessessary. Just gotta get used to it?
Now..if I can find an explorer or ranger at a junk yard n use that module would that be an easy swap out?

Thats pretty much what he was saying was rotor problems or even bearing problems
