Replacing the front wheel bearings on a 94 2WD?
Looking for some info on this...
I found this procedure - http://www.fordrangerforum.com/how-s...eel-drive.html
Is it the same for the front wheel bearings on my truck?
Is it likely that I will need to rent a tool to do the bearings in my driveway?
I know I need to replace the inner and outer bearings and races, but I just want to make sure that my front bearing job will be able to follow this write-up.

seeing as that write up says in it "how to replace the wheel bearings on a 2wd truck", i think you're fine.

You can get a special tool but you really dont need it. old extension works just fine.

no special tools required you may be able to get by without changing the races...... if you look at them and the still look and feel smooth after you wipe out all the old grease you should be able to get by without changing them.... but yeah if you have to change them an old extension will work just fine to get them out and back in....

I was always taught to change them out when putting in new bearings.

You might just try to repack the bearings. They do dry up
