Re: truck shakes bad at 65mph help???
one suggestion....
Never play around when it comes to safe driving(wheel shakes,etc.).
have a professional at least diagnose it(usually 75 bucks) then if you want you can do the repair.
My truck had a severe shake, so i brought it to Ford who said it was tie rod ends, so i replaced them and had a front end alignment, skake was still there, next i heard a small squeal, it was the passenger bearing assembly.
After i changed that out it Drives smooth again.
I have since brought it in to Ford for a winter special(look over vehicle top to bottom) and found that the u-joints are starting to go.
If i brought it in right away i may have saved some cash, plus the longer you keep driving without fixing the initial problem you end up breaking other things!
Sorry long winded, Just my 2 cents
