Starting / Running Problem
I am having a starting issue. In the mornings, I start my truck and move it out of the garage. Starts fine and runs, I pull out of the garage and turn it off so that I can shut the garage door and lock up. I get back in my truck, turn the key, the engine turns over but it won't start up at all. There is a smell of gas like it's flooded (shouldn't happen with fuel injection, my guess). Either my wife takes me to work, or I take her car and when I get back home and try to start the truck it fires up with no problems. I hear all the 'clicks' and sometimes you can hear the pump pressure up and other times you can't. Is this a fuel pump issue or something else? Or the fuel filter? This has happened twice this week, Monday and Thursday. I bought this truck this past April and have replaced the fuel filler hose. This is my first Ford. Thanks for any help in this.
