Default noisy Ac compressor

I dont know if this is repost but I noticed that when I start up my truck (after a day or 2 of it sitting there) the compressor sounds like its tearing itself apart for a 1 second and then it quiets down and you dont hear it. I hear regardless if the compressor is already turned on upon start up or if I turn on the compressor after start up (but the truck needs to be sitting for a day or 2 for the noise to come up, Is this normal? i have read somewhere on here that rangers are known for noisy AC compressor but is this what ppl are talking about?

If it sounds like its growling/grinding on startup then there is oil getting back to the compressor.
When the compressor starts, the refrigerant is to be at the gaseous state. In your case, after sitting there for a few days, it returns to a liquid state. When the compressor starts this time it is "chewing" on this liquid instead of the intended gas, thus making that growling noise.
My neighbors compressor(home) does this EVERY time, DRIVES ME BONKERS!

Would you recommend seeing ford for this, Or should I just live with it. I dont mind the noise if its not going to cost me a compressor in a few months.

it's typical. I've heard that If you turn the ac off before you shut the truck off, it won't do it next ac startup.
