Default vibration coming from steering column

I'll be cruising at about 50 or faster and if I slightly turn the wheel to the left or right I get this vibration. I can here it better than I can feel it but the best way I know how to explain it is that is sounds like a bumble bee in my steering column.

It could be a slipped belt in the tire too.

It might be a wheel that isn't balanced correctly as well.

Sounds like a bad tire to me, a bad balance you would feel it not hear it.

If I were you, I would start looking at where the sound is coming from - if you can't feel it through the steering wheel, then maybe it is just something in the column that is vibrating/rubbing at a high frequency when your steering wheel is slightly off center.

Relating to wheels, tires, suspension, or anything like that - road noises like thumping, clicking, clacking, whirring, clunking, clanking, droning, yes, but I've not heard of a "bumble bee" in the steering column type of noise - if anyone else has, please post about it.
