Post Damn truck lol

Ok so my truck has a hard time staying up to spee 40+ and when i start her up she has a hard time starting like there is not enough gas getting trhough. So i'm thinking could it be my fuel filter?

A clogged fuel filter can definitely restrict the flow of gas, so yeah... change it, it's easy and cheap enough anyways.

A plugged fuel filter will let you have power just off idle, but as you use more pedal, the engine power will fall off. A bad pump will do this too (a rusted fuel line like mine has the same effect but you see and smell that). Change it if you cannot remember the last time it was done. If it stumbles, it could be the coil pack or more likely the module. Also not real hard or expensive, especially if you have the one from the old engine, or does that one have a distributor?
