Default Brand New Brakes, Now drums too tight?

Ok I replaced my brakes all around this afternoon (discs, pads, drums, hardware, and shoes.)

I went to go put the new drums on (which are the correct size) and they are quite tight. Wheels still turn but are pretty snug, I checked the star wheel and its as low as it gets and all the hardware is installed correctly. Took it for a drive and they feel awesome and no sounds are commin out.

Is this common? Any thoughts?

a little drag is normal but it should still spin somewhat freely. you need to back off on the adjuster a bit if the drums are dragging too much.

Yea the adjuster is as back as it gets......... that's why it seemed a bit odd to me. The new shoes are the exact same as the last ones I took off as well.

if you have them backed all the way off and they are still dragging then you might not have them assembled right. i would pull the drum back off and double check everything. did you replace the hardware too?

Yep, hardware is all new, everything is in the right spot and it all "should" be fine.

I've done this a million times in the past but this is wierd.
