Default ????Air Conditioning Removal????

Hey guys my ac currently does not work do to a shortage of refrigerant and i am thinking about removing it. Has anybody done this? what all needs to go? and it shouldnt impact the heating system at all but any tips would be great, thanks

Why not just charge the system? If you're hell bent on removing it, just remove the compressor, possibly mounting plate (not sure on the setup) and someone will chime in on your new serpentine belt size.

And then sell your A/C compressor/ Condensor/ Mount bracket/ Lines/ Drier

i cant get it recharged it uses r 134a which isnt available i have to change the fittings so i can use r-12 i cant buy r 134a online but in cans and i need like two pounts so thats alot of cans.
