Hi, A while back i posted a question about replacing my gas lines on a '97 pickup and i got a reply that i should go to a auto parts store and they should be able to help me out. I tried my local store and he said I should go to a dealer and get lines from them due to the high pressure in the line. Is there really that much pressure on the line that I can't put ends on fuel lines and clamp them? If I have to, I have to... just want to get your opinion...

You need to replace the whole line. yes there is alot of pressure on those lines.

Thanks for the reply! I guess I'll have to suck it up and go to the dealer unless anyone knows of an alternative...
