Angry Air Intake Hose

I am in need of a new air intake hose and I dont wan't a cold air intake. I have a V6 3.0L and can't seem to find a hose for it anywhere. I have a hose that I belive is for a 4 cylinder in good condition, and was wondering if I can just get a coupler and attach it? Will my truck run fine? Also does anyone know if the Spectre replacement air intake hose work for a stock system?

As long as it is long enough and thick enough.... [ha ha lol thats what she said...]

I'm not sure if the 2.3L intake tube was made narrower due to less air volume needed, or if it is basically the same. If it is roughly the same size as the throttle body and the connection to the air box, it will probably be fine.

It is long enough, and it connects to the air box; the end to the end that connects to the throttle body is about the same size so it doesnt fit. It just matches up, so I was thinking of getting a coupler reducer and trying to connect it like that because for now my hose has duct tape lol It is torn right where it connects to the throttle body, so I want to get a new one, but they are hard to find. Even the junkyards here in Vegas don't seem to have in 3.0L intake hoses. Thanks for the input.

Sounds like it will work fine then once you get it coupled up without duct tape. Or, just apply more duct tape.

I am also thinking of buying this, but I am not sure if it is meant to be used with a stock filter.

Looks like its just a replacement for the stock tube so it should work. But remember, you are not bolting it up to the stock air filter box. You have the MAF in there too.
