Yep - they aren't any different when it comes to this stuff.

Thanks Logan, I am going to try to check this out. It is very frustrating to have water drip on my foot.

Is the water supposed to drain out of both left and right wheel wells? Mine doesn't drain from
The passenger side

I opened up the firewall cover and there was nothing in it. I still have the problem with the leaking on my foot under the dash on the driver's side. It is a drip under the dash, left of the steering wheel, close to kick panel on left. If there is another place to look for a solution?

My truck still does it too. I replaced the carpet with vinyl and when it rains hard there's water on the passenger floor. I think the windshield is leaking.

I like the carpet in my truck. If the windshield was leaking would it still leak inside where I described it? I can't find anywhere for it to leak from outside(nothing obvious anyway).

On a dry day go outside with you and a buddy and grab the hose and spray the truck in certain spots for a little bit. Around the windshield, the drain for the wipers, and anything you can think of. And have the guy on inside look for leaks

I have the same leak the fix in this thread couldn't fix its been leaking for years already. Now I'm starting to think its getting in from around the seal of the driver side door

This thread is a carpet saver. I thought I had a hole in the bottom of my cab

It was a great start at fixing this problem, however, the screw heads on the panel on my truck are not 7's. In fact, they are so poorly made, I don't have a socket that will fit and can't loosen the top one and the bottom right one. Also, the bottom right one is so close to the fender I can't get a ratchet on it. The only box I found in the location under the door was empty, so my problem seems to be above there.

So, I was wondering since I can't open the box, what would happen if I used a long drill bit and put a hole in the wiper box? Will that drain into the cabin or into the engine compartment?

This may be too obvious, but did you try both American and metric 6-point size sockets? It should fit. Also, maybe you could use an offset wrench to twist that hidden ratchet?
