Default Squealing while driving

Hey all.

My '92 recently developed a squealing when I engage my clutch. Not sure what it is, as the squealing speeds up with engine speed, goes away when the clutch is disengaged, and when I'm in 4th. Overdrive,
1st, 2nd, and 3rd all still squeal somewhat, although the faster I go, the more it goes away.

What could it be, and what would the remedy for this problem be? My Haynes manual doesn't list anything that this could be. Also, my clutch is starting to feel like it needs to be replaced, as well as it not holding fluid when it's gotten cold out lately.

Well, through hard experience, I have finally figured out what was causing the noise: My clutch throw-out bearing was worn. It basically wore out so much that when I went to re-engage the clutch at 20 MPH, still in 2nd gear, the clutch pressure plate broke (when it happened, the noise it had been making changed, and it wouldn't necessarily shift while in motion).

Basically, I'm looking at a $627 repair bill, and an $82 towing bill. I just hope that it lasts like it's supposed to this time (only 10K miles since I've had the truck).

Well, more bad news...clutch was replaced, but, because of what probably was a bad seal in the trans, my transmission went out...so now, my truck is down until I can replace it. Anybody got prices on what it might take to get a rebuilt unit or a unit from a place like Pick-N-Pull?
