Default Power Steering flush..

So I tried to do a power steering fluid change today, and I was using a syringe type tool to suck the power steering fluid from my 93' Ranger. I went though 2L of new fluid before I gave up trying to get it to go clean. I would suck up the fluid, fill it with new fluid, turn it on and turn the wheel and then repeat. After about 10 cycles I gave up. It is still pretty red looking, but it does feel better. Any ideas how I can get this fluid clear??

shouldn't it be clear after changing it and flushing 2L of new fluid though the system?? I know it will break down and get dirty over time, but to look that color immedietely? I don't know, this was my first power steering flush ever so I just thought it was still dirty...

No, its getting hot and being pumped through lines, just the heat will change the color, it will work fine even if its not clear.

Theres really no point in trying to get it completely clear, if you put new fluid in it then its going to work fine, whether or not its clear doesnt have much to do with the effectiveness of the pump.
