Closing/ Blocking Heat Vents
My '83 2.3L Ranger has no A/C in it, and the controls simply have a off-high fan setting, and a cold-hot temp setting. Even in the "off" position a fair amount of air still sucks through the system and warm air comes in to the cab.
Is there a way to physically block off the tube of air coming into the cab? or is it just the blades stop spinning but the column of air is still there?
If it means ripping open the dash to put in a ball valve on the floor vents and dash vents I will. When it's hot out this won't be too friendly !
