Default tires are squeaking on my ranger while driving, help me?

Now the tires are 5 months old and the brakes and rotors are about 2 years old. The tires continously squeak from the time of acceleration from the time I brake and stop. I do not believe it is the brakes because even when I do not brake they still squeak/high pitch hum constantly, did I hit a bad pothole and mess it up maybe? What is it?? It has been like it for a week now

If it were brakes, you would only hear squeeking when you apply the brakes

So if it is constant:

with soft squeeking, it could be tire pressure, low tire pressure can cause a high pitched sound

Bearings give you more of a grinding sound along with some vibration in the steering wheel - if you are also feeling something in the wheel then it would be more of a clue

check tire pressure, inspect fron brake rotors for grooves, have front wheel bearings inspected and re-packed with grease - all 3 are not expensive to do

lastly, inspect under the car for debris - you may have picked up trash or other item and its stuck under the car and dragging - see if you can get outside the car and have a friend drive around the driveway and see if you can tell where the sound is coming from and repost question if necc.

Josh may be right on this but I'll throw in possible front wheel bearing. checking it requires jacking up the front securing the car on stands chocking the tires on the rear then spinning the front wheels the sound can be traced at this time.

hate to break it to ya, but this IS your brakes! sounds like one of the front brake pad squeelers.

Two years is plenty of time to wear out pads, expecially if you had them done cheap. Cheaper brake pads will wear out faster.

Have them checked soon, otherwise you will end up buying new rotors again!
