sometimes we hit something or force the steering while manouvering without being noticed, I'd go for an alignment, and, if something is starting to go wrong, the guys are gonna be able to tell you - if not, it will be back straight

i have the exact same problem. Wheel is even in the SAME EXACT spot. Let me know if an allign fixes it. Ill be going for one end of next week so if i end up going first ill let you know

----------

could be tie rod too. I had to replace mine and i think thats when it started now that i put 2 and 2 together. Might have to go tighten that nut a little!

You better check your ball joints, this is a sign of worn joints.

My 97 is the same way at just about the same spot. It's been that way since i bought it. It doesn't have any play in the wheel, steer is still responsive, let it go it doesn't start to turn, etc. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's bugging you, but it never hurts to get it checked out.

mine drives fine, it just pisses me off haha. Im almost positive it has to do with the tie rod.

has to do with how far the wheelside end screws in i think.

----------

and no thats not a ranger but Tie rods are the same

My truck does the same thing in the same exact spot. No pulling to either side. Had an alignment done a few months back and it was straight, now it's not. It's bugging me pretty bad. Anyone ever figure out what causes this?
