Default anthor cb question

iam installin my cb again on my ranger. i got a coax cord from a buddy of mine and he took it off of a mag mount. how can i connect it to my antenna. i belive i was told one of them are ground and iam not sure what to do with the other one. can put pics up if needed. thanks

Well you haven't told us anything about the coax, the radio, the antenna, where anything is, how anything is mounted, etc etc. Not trying to be an ass, but based on this question, it doesn't sound like this is within your ability. You should take it to a professional to do whatever it is you're trying to do.

sorry i was in a hurry when i wrote this iama try this again. i got a cobra ltd 29 with rodger beep and echo board. it is mounted underneth my seat at the moment. and the antenna the is mounted in the rear of my truck on my pipe bumper. the coax cable
was off a mag mount and took off it off the magnet and wanna mount it to my antenna is there a way i can do that?

We'd need a picture or detailed description of the mount. Also, please do the world a favor and remove the stupid beep and echo box.

Hey its no skin off my back. If you want to be one of the proverbial annoying CB radio idiots that helps keep up the horrible bad image the hobby already has, go for it. They're obnoxious, illegal, and make you sound like a fool on the air. If that's your thing, go for it.

im pretty sure it wont work. i had a wilson 1000 mag mount and im pretty sure the coax couldn't be taking off. it was a while ago so i could be wrong

That is what scissors or wire cutters are for. The coax is not detachable. You just cut it off. Coax is coax once there is nothing attached to it.
