Default Re: PCV valve

The purpose of a PCV valve is to get rid of the gases that get into the crankcase by sliding pass the pistons. Positive Crankcase Ventilation.
This shouldn't be the cause of any A/C problems, at least that I can think of. But if you are really worried about your PCV valve you can replace it, they only cost like 3 bucks and just pop in.

What A/C problems are you having?

I had a compressor that was intermittent like that on a '01 Cadillac. It was the compressor itself

I had my A/C recharged and my compressor still clicks on and off all the time, but I just live with it.
