Default Shakin' and Bucking

Hey gang. I have a bit of a problem that I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me with. The best way I can explain what my little '93 truck is doing is, ya know how when your driving a manual transmission, and you come up on a hill you weren't ready for and your in an upper gear, how it shudders and bucks until you drop it into a lower gear? Well that's what its doing just driving down the road. Now, its always while giving it gas. It idles fine. I've replaced the spark plugs and plug wires. The distributor cap and rotor. I usually try (when I can remember) to use injection cleaner about every other fill up. And when it got really cooled out side and stayed that way, I put some HEAT in just in case it was a fuel line. I also replaced the fuel filter. All I can think of, God help me, maybe low cylinder compression some were. Now that I think about it,This all started when it got cold out side. Any thoughts?

Same problem with my 1990...check the Maf sensor the iac and the TPS...common problems...I've changed fuel pump, filter, spark plugs, wires, coils, and ignition control module. Also a new battery/terminals. Didn't fix it now I'm going for those sensors I mentioned above I'm sure it's that or a vacuum leak gotta find it!

I was wondering if it could be an injector? But thanks for the advice. I'll look into it.

Ive had the same issues in my 99. I changed plugs, wires, filters, and ignition coil. It finally went away for the most part when I cleaned the two sensors that are attached to the intake tube off the air box (use the spray can that says "MAFS cleaner"). I also found a small hole in the intake tube on the underside where it had been rubbing. I sealed it up with high heat caulk and Ditched my oily expensive air filter and went back to fram. It has been running much better ever since. I had also done the airbox mod and I put it back just to be safe. Hope this helps or at least gives you some more options to try

Well I've cleaned out my iac my and throttle body as well as my MAF sensor didn't really fix it only thing is now it actually stays running for a couple of sEconds but then dies or just stalls. I went and replaced the TPS sensor because it was giving off a code for it. Also gave me other codes didn't really see anything wrong with them the only other code I got is egr failed to open. So I just took the egr valve off and cleaned it off haven't put it back together because of the weather it started raining...but I cleaned it off also the iac looked like it had never been cleaned it's still an original part. Really old so I'm really thinking about replacing it I really don't want to waste more money nd have it not b the problem so I'm going to the junk yard to pull all those parts to see if there's any difference.

I also thought that maybe a fuel injector wasn't working I bought Lucas fuel additive just to see but if changing these parts doesn't help it I'm going to test the fuel injectors. Sighh so much work but I gotta get this truck running!

Thanks for all the advice. I've tried the fuel additives also, Lucas, STP and C or Sea Foam, can't remember how it was spelled, O'Reilly's sells it. I don't know, I guess it seemed to work a little. What's weird is I can drive it for awhile, while its doing its thing, turn it off, go into a store for a min. or two, fire it back up and she'll run fine for a bit. Makes me think fuel pump, like, maybe its re-setting.
Thanks again and happy 4th to everyone.
