Exclamation My Ranger wastes too much gas! Help!

Hey guys, I'm a new member
I have a 2003 Ford Ranger; red.
I've had it for 3 years. I put a 3 inch lift to the front and added 31" tires.
My truck has 139,000 miles on it (i know)
Its pretty bad on gas and i was wondering is that normal? Is it because i added the lift to it and the tires? Or do i need a tune up or something?
Also, i noticed my truck is a bit slower than most trucks, is there anything i can do to make it faster? I'm new so be easy on me and I'm new on learning about trucks haha. Thanks.
Here's a picture of my truck.

With that said you're post lacks any real information so it's impossible to offer any real advice. "Bad" gas mileage is subjective, so can't help you there.

Since you're complaining about speed I'm going to guess you're truck is probably a 3.0 and you didn't consider regearing after your lift.

Also, lifting & oversized tires = worse gas mileage & slower speeds.

^He is a newbie. Calm down we all were at one point. So, lets try and help.

On the matter of the mpg try a new fuel filter first and like Tom said regear it.

Being that the post is over 3 months old, I dont see it necessary to bring it up again and stir the pot
