Default ECU location

im trying to find the ECU in my 99 ford ranger, does anybody know where its located?

It's in the engine compartment, firewall, passenger side. There is a large wire connector going into it and a bolt holding the connector in place

Top left of the picture. Back up by the fire wall.




You can see it in this picture. on the left. They already removed the wire harness.

Thanks for the help, im installing an hho fuel cell and it requires modifying the input signal from the oxygen sensor i have to tap into the signal wire going into the ecu. thanks again
