Default Radiator Problem

So yeah. I had some free time today and I decided to flush and drain my radiator. BUT the little plastic bolt that I was told to loosen is broken off. What should I do? Thanks- Bear

From past experience I have always had to replace the whole radiator if it was broken off and unable to remove it to replace just the plug

Where would I find a new one? And what is the part specifically called? And how much should I be expecting to pay? Would it be an easy fix to do it myself?

LOL, I usually say screw the pet**** and go strait for the lower hose. Seem to be more trouble and take more time to drain than what they're worth, but unhooking the lower hose can make a mess if you aren't prepared for it.

Yeah that's what I did. And stuff got ALL over the place before I could clean it up and put the bucket under it.

Do you still have the part that broke off?? If so, maybe you can JB weld it back on??

Or Harbor Freight sells a cheap kit for welding plastic. Works pretty well with a little practice.

Post up some pics, that would be helpfull.

If the hole is in a flat spot, it should be an easy fix.

I will once I get the chance. I've been really busy. I haven't even had time to get on the computer. I'm on my phone now.
