Default Water noise

Hi chaps,
I have a problem, every time I pull away and brake hard I can hear water sloshing about in the back somewhere, I only get it after a rainfall, it is not in the back doors, it sounds like from under the rear seats, after some dry days it goes away, it is also not under the pick up tray at the rear.

Any ideas please.

Bernie.

Since you have no signature with vehicle information, and haven't told us any vehicle information, that's going to be a bit hard to randomly guess.

Ok, just to make sure, you aren't hearing the water accumulated in the bed since you have a plastic bedliner? It will fill up with water if not sitting perfectly level.

No, I have removed it to check when the water is in there and it is dry with no sign of water.

I think it could be in the chassis ?

I googled it for you and this popped right up. I am not sure if it is your issue but I am sure it is wort looking at. http://www.justanswer.com/ford/38khx...side-back.html

if that is not your particular issue you probably still have a weep hole somewhere that is clogged. see if oou can isolate the water and then look for a clogged hole.

Well I have found it !!! the water was in the N/S sill, I have found a rubber bung in the middle, when I pulled it off, out came all the water, I never spotted it before because it was painted over and it is not very big, but all sorted now.
Thanks to all for the replies.
A very happy Mucky pup now.

The Sill is what we in England call the box section at floor level or step under the doors the front and back is where you would fix the mud flaps. N/S is near side to the kerb.

Any help ?
