Default Come One Come All! 4.0l Rangers. MPG

Hi, I did not see any info on an average miles per tank.
I think this is good information and if good enough results post I will
do a How To on some of the Mods I do To increase economy/power. I just
need to know what to expect from my Ranger. As I would think most would want to know.
So Let us know what you are getting in this format please.
Fill up, how many gallons
Miles, highway, or city, or Avg.
Mods done.
Many thanks and hopefully this informationcan help many in the future by knowing if their vehicles health is up to par.
Many Thanks to all who participate!
3.0l Owners may want to setup this poll too. . .

I have logged every single mile I've put on my Ranger. I do this with all my vehicles. I always completely fill the tank, and run it down until the low fuel light comes on. Here are the numbers from my last 2 fill ups:

Trip - 351
Total Miles - 30888
Gallons - 17.31
PPG (price per gallon) - $2.60
Total - $45.00
20.28 MPG

Trip - 365
Total Miles - 31254
Gallons - 17.79
PPG - $2.53
Total - 45.00
20.52 MPG

Now I don't normally get quite so many miles per tank. Usually it's around 320-340 miles when I get gas. I have the 19.5 gallon tank, so filling up almost 18 gallons means I ran the gas down very low. However, regardless of how many miles I get on a tank of gas, I consistently get 19-21 MPG. And these numbers are for 100% stop-and-go city driving.

Just a quick thought here guys and gals.. If it's not included in your signature then it might be good to include your gear ratios..

I still haven't figured my mileage..

Carry on..

It ain't easy milking that kind of mileage out of it. I really have to baby it all the time. But the better the mpg, the more money I save. So looking at it that way makes it easier.

I bought it just over a year ago and it had a little under 15K on it. I have put around 15K on it in the year I've had it.
