Default Crankcase pressure

New to site so a big hello. I have 2 Rangers (2000 & 2001) both 4x4 turbo diesel. What happens to one happens to the other. Problem is with oil being blown out of engine causing turbos to race away. At present I have the pipe running from the valve cover disconnected from the air filter inlet, so that it is discharging straight to atmosphere. The vehicles do not have a PCV fitted so at a loss for solutions

Default Re: Crankcase pressure

It sounds like one or more of the pistions is leaking air from bad pistion rings.

I did have that thought, going to get a pressure check done - was hoping it might be head gasket across an oil way. Just strange that both of them have the same symptoms - the 2 door just went while driving along & lost power (Turbo has been changed - getting to be an expert with it it now taking 4hrs)
