Default diesel/GM trans/fullsize ford tcase swap?

well got a big combo i'm trying to figure out if it will work/fit

engine wise i want to run a 4BT this trans is known to fit in a RBV but most people use the TH400 with it. I dont want the TH400 i want a newer 6 speed auto. Was planning on using a 6L90e with a standalone Speartech controller or the entire gen VIIIIII (or whatever the hell GM is up to PCM) main reason for this is the 6L90e carries a double overdrive and a much wider gear ratio


1st: 4.03:1
2nd: 2.36:1
3rd: 1.53:1
4th: 1.15:1
5th: 0.85:1
6th: 0.67:1
reverse: 3.06:1


1st 2.48
2nd 1.48
3rd 1.00
2.08 R

1st and 2nd on the 6l is beast for torque combined with a pretty basic 4bt i should have tons of get up and go for a 4.10 or even 3.73 rear end and 35"s. Also should yield 25-30MPG which is unheard of in this truck.

now the transfer case is a little more off the wall the 6L90e has a 34 spline output shaft and i have no idea what tcase was thinking a modded bw 1365e. or maybe the stock NP whatever out of a fullsize.

agh its alot of info to go through anyone have any other thoughts they want to throw out there and personal experiences?

just as a fyi the 6L90e is about the same size as a 4L60e and i know for a fact i have seen someone with a 4L80 and 4wd still...
