Default Major header into a guard rail....

There's no way I giving up my ranger to a junk yard, so went down and got a 2000 frount end to bolt up to my 1999. Look's good and bolted right up, proublem my 99 didn't have fog light's, the new frount dose. In NH if it's on the truck it has to work. Is there an easy way to jump them into the head light's with out blowing or overloading the fuse?

yeah there should be the wires running down the fender sides. They have a plug similar to the round one for the ac.

Mine's a 4th gen. and it has the plugs in the front and the plug behind the radio bezel for the fog switch. IIRC, If you look at the front end of your truck carefully, you'll find them.

You could wire up an OEM switch just like I did with the Hellas behind the grill if you arent pre-wired. I wrote up some instructions at home and if you need them I can pm them to you.

I would say your best bet is to wire them to a switch. most states (not sure about NH) state law requires fog lights to go off if your high beams come on. I have no idea how to make them do that, but a switch is just a few wires.

The stock wiring harness already handles the the high beam cut-off. You will need to plug in the lights to the wires under the bumper, put the relay and fuse into the power distro box under the hood, and plug in the factory switch on the dash.

Yes, it will overload it by a lot.

You can however use the low beam circuit to drive a relay to power the fog lights. Read my how to for instructions and pictures.

Doing it the right way (#2 in my how-to) takes about 5 minutes longer than just hot wiring it and catching on fire.
