Just got back from my fifth drive in my 93 ford ranger, and the front (passenger side) brake is locking up. When i got it i noticed the brakes were grabby, very little pedal travel. Today, is was more noticable. I tried not to use them, and would let it roll backwards and the brakes would seem to let go. Then, i was good until i used them again, and I would have to back up a ways to get to open up.

It was real hot when I got home !! Reel hottt!

I am having the same issue. Did you ever find a solution?

sounds like a sticky caliper

The caliper bolts come loose on my 2003. Seems to be a common defect. Don't know if there is a fix...maybe lock washers or clevis pins.
